Hi,
My 1 week old daughter has not been sleeping well for past 2 days. I believe she is struggling with gas issues. We try to get her burps while feeding and after feeding but still at night she is unable to sleep properly. She makes some kind of noise and keeps stretching herself. Please advise.

1 week usually not affected by infantile colic so no need of colic drugs at 1 week of age ... you should know what’s normal and what’s abnormal things at this age baby so consult a pediatrician by video call or by personal appearance as few things are normal and few may be dangerous....don’t take risk in a newborn baby
It may be normal behavior because as per your history its happening at night only usually because neonates are active more in night.
You try to put her on tummy during discomfort ,if she feels relieved it may be Colic.
Next Steps
If it's Colic try Colimex DF drops
0.3 ml 2-3 times a day on whenever required basis.
This is normal .For the first 2-3 months child sleeps in the day and playful in the night as child has to adjust to the circadian cycle. She his playful in the night as in the Womb there is darkness and child understands that and adjust within 2- 3 months.
Health Tips
Try to make child awake in the day otherwise not to worry this is normal. Not to try any medicine for this
