Gas and acidity with stomach pain
When I wake up today morning I suddenly got pain in stomach with gas and then after that I had lose motions too. It happened after my menstrual cycle completion and I felt severe weakness along with tiredness to the point i had to rest for sometime. I took medicine such as pantap d and glucose sachet but still i feel nausea a bit. Could it be due to untimely meals or stress?

Hello, I understand you are experiencing sudden abdominal pain, loose motions, and significant weakness following your menstrual cycle. To give you the best guidance, it would be helpful to know a few more details: Location of Pain: Is the pain localized (e.g., lower right or upper abdomen) or generalized? Associated Symptoms: Are you experiencing any fever, vomiting, or blood in your stools? Hydration: How many episodes of loose motions have you had today? Clinical Considerations: While untimely meals and stress can certainly trigger dyspepsia (acidity) and exacerbate gastrointestinal distress, the combination of sudden pain, diarrhea, and severe weakness suggests a few possibilities: Acute Gastroenteritis: This is a common cause of sudden stomach pain and loose motions, often resulting in the dehydration/weakness you described. Post-Menstrual Hormonal Shifts: Fluctuations in prostaglandins can sometimes affect bowel motility even just after a period, though "severe weakness" usually points toward fluid loss or low blood sugar. Dietary Indiscretion: Irregular meal timing can lead to increased gastric acid secretion, which correlates with your "gas and acidity" complaint. Immediate Recommendations: Hydration is Priority: Since you feel weak and have had loose motions, continue with the glucose sachets or ORS (Oral Rehydration Salts). Sip slowly throughout the day. Bland Diet: Stick to the "BRAT" diet (Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, Toast) for the next 24 hours. Avoid spicy, oily, or caffeinated triggers. Monitor Symptoms: The Pantoprazole D (Pantap D) you took should help with the acidity and nausea (the 'D' component is an anti-emetic), but it may take some time to settle fully. When to seek immediate in-person care: Please visit a local clinic if you experience high-grade fever, persistent vomiting (unable to keep fluids down), severe localized pain, or if the weakness does not improve with hydration. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

It is very common to feel this way.its becuase during periods the uterus contracts sometimes the bowels contract too, which leads to gas and loose motions. weakness you felt is likely due to blood loss from your period and fluid loss from the loose motions. yes heavy meal and stress can make it worse by making your gut more sensitive.
Next Steps
Keep Hydrated use ORS.Eat Bland Food like simple Moong Dal Khichdi and Curd Rice. These are easy on the stomach and help firm up stools. have Ginger tea or can even just chew a small piece of ginger.Avoid coffee, tea, and spicy food for now as they can irritate your stomach further.

Hormonal Shifts, It is very common to experience "period flu" or gastrointestinal issues like diarrhea and nausea just before or right after your menstrual cycle ends. This is often caused by prostaglandins—hormone-like compounds that help the uterus contract but can also affect the bowels.
Next Steps
Dehydration and Electrolyte Imbalance: Loose motions can lead to a rapid loss of fluids and salts. Even with a glucose sachet, if the fluid loss is significant, it can lead to the severe weakness and nausea you're describing.
Health Tips
kindly consult
