Gap between lumber vetebrae

My wife has been experiencing pain in lumber region since 1 month. Doctor diagnosed the gap between l4 &l5. What's the reason for that? Tell us proper treatment and prevention. Thank u.

Reason can be some sudden jerk at back during any activity or lifting some heavyweight or even a slip.. cz age is quite young for any other changes in vertebra... Best will be physiotherapy treatment for her.. take her to physiotherapy clinic and follow exercises also learn precautions to be followed for back pain in day to day activities
