Fungus Infection spreading at high rate

Asked for Male, 28 Years

Doctor Prescribe me Antifungal drug 400mg per dose daily for 4 weeks or more if infection is not recovered. as Infection is responding only at this high dose not with 200mg. Is it safe to take this high dose as generally itraconazole is prescribed in 200mg dose?
