Asked for Female, 49 Years

Frequent washing of red leafy vegetables and utensils. 6 months ago an anti fungal powder, povidone iodine powder 5% w/w betadine was prescribed and infection is gone. However, the new nair growing is defective with a bad appearance.

Greetings. You have chronic paronychia - due to repeated water contact. Firstly - reduce water contact - try to keep the hads dry . You can use a combination cream with antifungal and mild steroid under the prescription of a qualified dermatologist near you - as this will reduce the infection and inflammation. You can also use gloves while doing wet work in kitchen.
