I'm having fungal infection near my groin and buttocks which had spread over my penis. Having these symptoms since two months now and on self diagnosis i have visited dermatologist at earliest.
Have changed 1 doctor who prescribed zocon cream and funzi powder which showed no improvement for a month and since 28 days new doctor have prescribed me Lulican cream, C win and Oral tablet.
There's improvement - as the border and affected area is lighter and smoother now near groin and there's no itching and sweat like before.
But the condition on penis is as it is.
Surfing on net I came over that I've tinea cruris and mycotic penile Dermatophyte.
I wish to know by when will this symptoms be cured permanently and if it's okay if the treatment breaches the two - four week stereotype of getting over this infection.
Also have been regular practising good hygiene

Fungal infection or Ring worm.. when occurs in groin, called as jock itch.. Usually fungal infection is common in moist areas of body like skin folds..It's mostly circular or round in appearance.. May be red or black in colour.. Treatment depending on the type and severity.. Avoid sharing clothes, towels and soap; sweating also increases it..As it has to be differentiated from eczema and infection, its a must to see and confirm the diagnosis for proper treatment..So, please send photos of the affected area by direct online consultation for accurate diagnosis and treatment.
