If clinical psychiatric evaluation and psychological assessment either or both show clearly you are suffering from a diagnosable psychiatric condition as per classification systems like ICD or DSM, medical leave and certification will be given by the treating team. Good luck

It sounds like you’re feeling quite overwhelmed with both work pressure and family stress, and needing a break makes complete sense in this situation. Taking time off can actually help prevent further burnout and give you space to recover mentally. If your stress is significantly affecting your sleep, concentration, mood, or daily functioning, then consulting a psychologist or psychiatrist and getting a medical certificate is a reasonable step, as mental health is just as important as physical health. At the same time, it’s also important to think about how you’ll use that break in a helpful way, such as resting, reducing mental load, and gradually addressing the stressors rather than only escaping them. If possible, even a short break combined with small coping strategies like setting boundaries, talking things out, and structuring your day can start making a difference.

Well that is something only you can decide for yourself. Though taking time for your mental health is essential and it can stop burnout and mental crashes. Though stress is not a diagnosis and for full assessment and management contact directly (nine eight two six five four five six six zero). If you feel you need rest you should also understand whether or not what you are going through falls in the disease category. Also understand that if you are suffering through depression or any other mental illness the same work which you could have done easily, suddenly becomes cumbersome. So get proper treatment. Stay healthy.
