Asked for Female, 50 Years

I am a 50 year old female, I have been having urinary track infection frequently, with pain and burning when I pass urine, I had urine culture done, results showed e coli bacteria, took antibiotics for one week , but the pain & burning hasn't reduced.

Get a ultrasonography of abdomen especially for the KUB along with post void residual urine to look for any obstruction leading to persistence of urinary tract infection. In case of associated prostatitis long term antibiotics are recommended. Consult a urologist for clinical examination for the purpose
