I am a 50 year old female, I have been having urinary track infection frequently, with pain and burning when I pass urine, I had urine culture done, results showed e coli bacteria, took antibiotics for one week , but the pain & burning hasn't reduced.

In case of associated prostatitis long term antibiotics are recommended.
