Male, age 24. Mother passed away 4 months back since then I am experiencing frequent nightmares involving her. It's getting hard to sleep at night. Do I need to see a psychotherapist or its just phase that eventually pass out??

I think you should seek a therapist or psychiatrist as symptoms you described are of prolonged grief reaction which can also be associated with depression. It is treatable with grief therapy and medications.
