Frequent Hiccups(4,5 times in a day)
My father 55 years old had stent placement(2 stent and 2 balloons)on 7th jan 2026.
Recently I am observing that he is getting hiccups for 2,3 seconds max but 3 to4 times a day and almost everyday.
His 2d Echo is now 50% , before stent it was 40%.
ECG is normal too.
Could you please suggest if it is because of stent or something else?

The hiccups are never due to Stent. It could be due to some gastric problem. Kindly consult a general physician.
