Response depends on texture and severity of atrophy which can be mild, moderate-to-severe atrophic acne scars, ablative fractional carbon dioxide(CO2) laser resurfacing treatment once a month can be done... But Co2 laser is safe and effective for facial atrophic acne scarring. Improvement in scarring is noted in the majority of patients with minimal discomfort and minimal downtime.
