Foamy & Frothy Urine

Asked for Male, 41 Years

My urine ACR level was 5.77 mg/g (Normal <30 mg/gm) on 18/05/2025 i.e just before starting Empagliflozin Previously it was 2.84 mg/g on 4/4/2025 Serum creatinine,potassium,urea & usg are all within normal limits Taking Empagliflozin 10 mg once a day since the last 20 days for blood sugar Recently noticing foamy & frothy urine Is it due to Empagliflozin ?

Yes it can be due to empa but other causes include infection and dehydration

It is less likely due to empagliflozin as it usually reduces the protein excreted in urine. Is there any history of exercise/fever/dehydration recently?
