Fluvoxamine
I have GAD and sleep issues, Tried most of the SSRI like Escitaloporam 10 for 9 years, Vilazodone for 2 yrs, and all others like Paroxetene, Sertraline, Mirtazapine but all gave me bad constipation..Tried SNRI and anti psychotics as well but bad constipation..My doctor has now prescribed me Fluvoxamine 100.. So can I take it as I have read it has got severe interactions with other medicines and increases caffeine levels..Even withdrawal systems are horrible..Please throw some light on the topic, what to do... I have also consulted an Ayurvedic doctor and he has prescribed me Ashwagandha and Brahmi tablets to be taken in the morning and night...So can Fluvoxamine be taken together with herbal medicines..Please respond...

Hey, GAD and sleep issues both come simultaneously, many times just taking medications doesn't work, with medication sometimes other grounding techniques and therapy is also needed. In your case, you have tried multiple medications and were not very much satisfied because of the side effects.
Next Steps
Firstly, you should consult your Psychiatrist about you taking ashwagandha, and I can understand you have read things online and you are scared of it, but online is not always true. Your Psychiatrist will be able to help you better and will clearly explain you about the symptoms and interactions and withdrawal effects.
Health Tips
Please do not believe everything online. Trust the specialist. they will guide you in the right direction. Consult the good Psychiatrist
