Yes it can be taken while trying to conceive.
No medication is 100% without risks, please remember that. But it is always a balance - no one ever asks if depression is risky for pregnancy, when untreated depression is often something that causes issues with pregnancy or conception. Moreover, antidepressants are always safer at a low dose. You can take an informed decision about this, but in any case do NOT abruptly stop medications at any point - have a discussion with a perinatal psychiatrist, keep your gyn in loop, and taper if needed. There are other options for depression available as well, but please make sure you have all the information at hand and have a thorough discussion with an expert before taking any drastic steps

Antidepressants drugs like are often prescribed. Various studies show different results but majority of the studies are on animals rather than on humans for various reasons.
It will still be better to stop the drugs if possible.
Pros and cons are to be discussed also with the treating Gynaecologist.
Low dose of fluoxetine is considered significantly safe in pregnancy and lactation.
