Fluctuating oxygen levels
My dad is having 93 94 oxygen levels during the day time.In night it is dropping drastically to 83 85 range.I admitted him in hospital and based on CT scan film doctor said infection will be around 11 to 13.Why the diffenrce between day and night time

In night while sleeping respiratory mechanics are changed .. diaphragm comes up... lungs total volume decreases a bit ... whereas in sitting position oxygen saturation improves so monitor spo2 continuously in the night
