Floaters increasing day by day
I'm a 25 year old and have high blood pressure, my eye floaters are increasing daily from the previous month. I consulted an opthalmologist 1 week ago and he checked my eye and also did an OCT, he told me, your eye is all fine and prescribed me Vitreon sachet to be taken everyday for 30 days. My question is if my eye is alright then why are my floaters increasing everyday and I have never seen flashes in my eye. I see some 25-30 floaters in my eye some floaters look like black dots and some look like wavy lines. I have attached the oct reports also.

Floaters are a very common problem. There are treatment options but the risks of the existing options are more than the benefits. Most cases these floaters reduce over a period of six months. Best strategy is to just wait and watch.

Floaters can be physiological also. In case they are increasing and you do not have much symptoms pars plan it is needs to be ruled out. It is relatively silent inflammation that may cause only floaters.
