Flight trvl in early preg

I m staying abroad. So I want to go back to my home. I m 8w4 d pregnant today. Flight travel is safe or not? What precautions should I take? Doctor didn't prescribed me any vaccination.. is it necessary any vaccination in this stage?

Hi Practo User, As such pregnancy is not a contradiction to flight travel( specially short flights) but one has to rule out any other associated medical problem, especially DVT or any other thrombophilias. Any medication in advance will depend on the area you are travelling to, endemic disease of that area

Health Tips

It would be better if you avoid it in 1st trimester , ie, travel after 13 wks of gestation.
