Laser surgery + LIFT for fistula tract has shown great promise in recent years. It gives comparable results to classical surgery, but without the big wounds and much less pain. Complications with laser surgery are very few, and recurrence is same as in open surgery. Your treatment options also depend on your fistula and other findings, which a surgeon will decide after examining you.
Next Steps
Meet a laser fistula surgeon, who will examine you and may ask gor an MRI scan before planning the surgery.
