It is possible that your finger may not be moving as well as it did before the surgery due to the stiffness caused by the immobilization after the surgery. However, with proper rehabilitation, such as exercises and physical therapy, there is a good chance that you can regain full movement and function of your finger. It may take some time and effort, but working with a physical therapist or occupational therapist can be very helpful in restoring movement and strength to your finger. It is important to follow your doctor's and therapist's instructions carefully and to be patient with the process. If you are concerned about your progress or have any questions, it is best to speak with your doctor or therapist.
