Finger nail fungus
Hi, I have undergone renal transplant so not allowed to take oral medicine , is there a treatment available for finger nail fungus .. it's been 2 years and it's not getting healed . Nail bed seems to be the problem area.

Nail fungal infection requires a long-term treatment which goes on for six months to 1 year. Sometimes the fungus can be resistant to the antifungal agent and a different one might have to be used. along with more information on ongoing medication or previous history of skin illness it is not possible to comment on the treatment that would suit you best. A piece of the nail clip can be sent for culture examination to know which medication fungus is resistant to. Hope this is helpful.
