I don't think so until and unless somebody is so fatigued that he/ she is bedridden leading to disuse muscle atrophy. Mostly fibromyalgia are vertically sick people. Btw fibromyalgia people can be helped with nutritional approach.

Yes, it is possible as fibromyalgia is associated with chronic pain which limits a person to decreasing movement. Person has fatiguabiliy and hence limits function of limbs and results in feeling for a rest. Anything that limits movement and exercise can cause muscle atrophy.
