risk of surgery depends upon the size and location of fibroid.. most common is bleeding needing transfusion.. Laparoscopic approach is also appropriate however depends on the technical expertise of the surgeon.
hysterectomy is individuals choice.. however if you are very young, would advise against hysterectomy due to potential longterm issues that comes after hysterectomy
