Fevwr after vaccination
Sir /mdam My 6 month old son got vacination opv1 + flu, in evening and sice midnight 1:00 am he is suffering from fever right now his temp is 102.5 . I have paracip oral soultion with me so kindly update what to do and if paracip i can give then what should be the dose .

These vaccine related fever are there for first 36 hrs or so.   Just keep paracetamol every 6 hr.

Hello. If it's oral suspension, then you can give 5 ml , if it is oral drops , you may give 1.2 ml. Repeat it every 6 hours once if required till fever subsides. Also give sponge baths with Luke warm water every time the child gets fever. Do it from head to toe. If the fever persists beyond 24 hours, you will have to consult with your doctor.
