Likely a viral infection (common cold/flu) causing recurrent fever. Fever returning after 2–3 hours suggests the infection is still active or the dosing gap is long. What you can take (short answer) Paracetamol 650 mg every 6–8 hours as needed (max 3 tablets/day). If severe body pain or blocked nose: Dolo 650 + Levocetirizine 5 mg at night. Steam inhalation 2–3 times/day. Hydration: 2–2.5 L water daily. If nose/throat symptoms: Nasal congestion → Sinarest or Cetirizine + Phenylephrine twice daily (avoid if BP is high). Sore throat → Warm salt-water gargles + Benadryl 10 ml at night. When to worry / see a doctor Fever > 100.4°F lasting >3–4 days Breathlessness, chest pain, severe throat pain Persistent high fever despite paracetamol Very low appetite or dehydration
