Your daughter doesn't seem to have dengue.Igm antibodies can be detected 4-5 days after start of symptoms.Any how u take the blood test and do the needful.U may give half tsp ginger juice with little honey.Give rice water with little salt or ORS frequently.
Yes platelets count can decrease and also improve In 1 day.
Does your child's feet and hands are colder then other body?, does she is Irritable or lethargic?, does she is not active? Dosent passed urine in last 10-12 hr ?If any of them answer is yes then she required hospitalisation. If not then we delay our blood report on day 5th of fever. And need to take oral medication and food like amla candy, papaya etc,all home mead liquids like lemonade, chach , and drink 1-2lit water/liquid per day.
If Loose motion and vomiting both are making child's oral intake very less , and child doesnot passed urine more than 10 hrs then hospitalisation of child is necessary.
Do consult Pediatrics near by If required.
Noted, it's good ur child is under treatment of her dr kindly follow him. Maintain hydration with ORS.
Pinch of dry ginger with honey (multiple time or black pepper will also work)will sooth her.
