Hi, my 5 yrs old son has had a fever since 15th March. He is active in between fever spikes. No problem while passing urine and motion. We consulted a pediatrician and he said mostly viral. I am giving crosin, cough, cold syrups along with antiflu syrup from last night. But after every 6 hours of giving crosin he is getting a fever. Fever is high mostly at night time. How many days a viral fever lasts? Please let me know if he needs any other medical help.

Better to get a physical consultation from some Pediatrician. Usually viral fever may last for 2 - 3 days. If it lasts more than that, then thorough examination and investigations need to be done.

Greetings, monitor the temperature by digital thermometer. If temprature is more than 100° give Syp PCM. If continue to have fever and cough visit pediatrician again for physical examination.
Next Steps
