  4. Fever and cold. Any tests to be done?

Dear doctor, My 1year 8 months baby has fever and cold for past two days. He got it from my wife who has fever and cold and cough.. Doctor advised P-250 , 3 ml every 4 hours and allerid 1 ml twice a day. He is very uneasy and crying. Any other antibiotics to be added.. any tests to be done? Pls advise..

Appears to be viral. Will persist for 2 to 3 days and then improve. You can give ibugesic 5ml if the child is cranky. Give wram fluids to drink. Follow up with your doctor after 3 days to re evaluate and need for antibiotics.
