Fever can be due to any reason, viral or bacterial infection. If doesn't subside after 3-4 days, get blood investigations to know what is the cause of infection. Only then it's appropriate to take antibiotics.

Do you have any other symptom? If it is a viral infection the antibiotics won't do anything. It needs to be correlated. Antibiotics will differ as well. Consult with proper history for better management.
