Can be due to one of the two reasons Ear wax which was already present now has completly blocked your ear. Wax solvent will help. Other reason can be due to pressure change you have swalloed some water unknowingly which had made its way to ur middle ear. We call it effusion of fluid into middle ear. Whenever there is history of cold, it is quite common. Nasal decongestant drops with oral anti histamines will be useful in such cases along with steam inhalation. Valsalva can also be given trial after instilling nasal drops
