The more we eat the more hungry we feel.
The more we eat in a meal our stomach increases in size ACCORDINGLY to adjust to larger quantities of food.
If you DECREASE the amount of food in each meal to 75% of previous meal, slowly your appetite will also decrease.
Food increases in volume 15 minutes after ingestion it, so even if u eat 75% you will notice that after 15 min of finishing the food, you feel same satisfaction that you get on eating your normal 100%.
So decreasing the meal quantity can be easily achieved over months slowly following this method.
Also try to have small frequent meals rather than large quantities of meal at a time. When you have eat 50% of the food tell yourself that " rest i will eat after some time when i again feel hungry".
You will notice that after some time you don't feel hungry.
Next Steps
Also start following plant based diet. that is eat one plate of salad in each meal, followed by more of green vegetables without roti or rice, and have very less roti rice etc.
have more fruits in breakfast and in evening.
