I'm finding it very hard to sleep. I'm getting bad dreams. Couple of times I've seen my father dead in my dreams, also I've seen my astrology for this week which states that my father's health needs attention as it may be become bad. Also a fraudulent trxn took place in my e comm account, where someone else's card was used to place orders illegally, my accounts were hacked. So the same day I lodged a complaint with cyber police. However 2 weeks later I rec'd call from cyber police of different city asking me about the same trnx. Probably the person whose cards were used belonged to that city. I'm afraid of all this, although I'm not at fault, as I didn't do anything and lodged complaint the same day. But fear of everything is eating me away. I'm a patient of anxiety and depression, it's been 2 yrs and I'm on diff meds including clonazepam earlier. Now I'm on Mirtaz. attempted suicide last year, was admitted in ICU. Now I want to try to end things again. 2yrs ,2 psychiatrist, no use.

Having bad dreams indicate the constant fear of future. Seeing death in dream means seeking change. It's obvious that you are seeking improvement in your dad's health. Similarly seeking a quick change in current situation in life, urgency in changing the situations is very panicky and, create a feeling of helplessness. That leads to attempting suicide. Along with the medication people also need psychotherapy in this stage. DBT and ACT would work well.

Hi... I hope your family is well informed and part of your treatment process. If not, please include them as early as possible.
Your treatment will involve a combination of medication and psychotherapy. I know some good psychiatrists in Bangalore. I will have to look for references in Ahmedabad but I am sure there will be good psychiatrists available in your city as well.
Use of medications (including antipsychotics) become necessary when risk to life is involved. Medications temporarily minimize the risk and Psychotherapy/Counselling (by Psychologist) help identify and manage core issues that are causing such suicidal urges. Please do not loose hope and seek professional help.
