Most children sleep at night from 10 pm to 5 am undisturbed after first few months of life. They may occasionally demand feeding at night. But reason is not necessarily hunger. Wet diaper or cold or heat can cause disturbed sleep. You have to offer water and the baby may continue to sleep. Make sure there is no reason for waking up at night. Same corner of the room low lighting no noise and excitement will make baby sleep undisturbed. Clean habits are also important. Keep the baby hands clean by soap and water whenever hands are dirty soiled.

Frequent night feeding is quite common around this age, especially if baby is used to feeding for comfort/sleep association.
You can gradually reduce it by:
- Giving a good dinner before sleep
- Maintaining fixed bedtime routine
- Trying to soothe/pat baby first before feeding every time
- Slowly increasing gap between night feeds
Do not stop suddenly. Gradual reduction works better. Also avoid mobile/TV before sleep.
If weight gain and daytime eating are good, this usually improves gradually with time.
