Feed quantity for 2 month old baby

Asked for Female, 31 Years

My baby weight gain is less inspite of constant breastfeeding. What qty must be fed to him per feed and how many times in a day? Can I bottle feed the breastmilk to him as most of the time he sleeps during breast feeding

You can feed the baby 10-15 mins on each breast & there is no fixed feeding quantity.you can feed the baby until the stops voluntarily. You have to feed every 2 and hourly or the max 3rd hourly, never give bottle feeds,new born sleeps while feeding & after 30 mins to 45 mins after the feed & gets up only when hungry & when passes urine/motion or if napkin is wet/disturbed
