Ginger and garlic is not the solution to this , it may cause more harm than good. Ao first dobhis Free HAIP Ayurvedic Body Type Analysis to analyze hiss Ayurvedic body constitution. For fatty liver diet is the best solution so follow HAIP DIET based on the principles of Ayurveda. Bhumyamalaki is good but there are better formulations that will help. Book a consultation for that which will be valid for 30 days.

You’re doing the right things already 👍—avoiding sugar, processed food, and focusing on weight reduction are the **core steps in fatty liver management** (stage 2 is still reversible if lifestyle is strict). Let me guide you step by step: --- ### 1. **Current Medicines & Home Remedies** * **Liv.52**: Good for general liver protection, but works more as a supportive tonic. * **Garlic + Ginger + Honey**: Garlic supports cholesterol reduction, ginger helps digestion and metabolism, but honey in excess should be avoided (even small amounts can add sugar load—better to use very little or skip if fatty liver is moderate/severe). --- ### 2. **Bhumi Amalaki (Bhumi Amla / Phyllanthus niruri)** * In Ayurveda, **Bhumi Amalaki** is one of the best herbs for fatty liver, high liver enzymes, and early fibrosis. * It reduces inflammation, helps clear excess fat in the liver, and balances Pitta-Kapha. **Dosage (general guideline):** * **Tablet / Capsule form**: 1 tablet twice daily after meals with warm water. * **Churna (powder)**: ½–1 tsp mixed in lukewarm water, twice daily. **Brands you can consider (all generally safe and reputed):** * Himalaya (Bhumi Amalaki tablets) * Baidyanath * Dhootapapeshwar * Kerala Ayurveda * Arya Vaidya Sala (if available locally) *(No major difference in brand efficacy if it’s a genuine company; focus on reputed manufacturers only.)* --- ### 3. **Diet & Lifestyle Essentials for Fatty Liver** ✅ Take: * Whole grains (millets, brown rice in small portion, oats) * Plenty of leafy greens, bitter vegetables (karela, methi, spinach) * Turmeric with warm water or food * Moderate good fats (flax seeds, soaked almonds, walnuts) * Warm water through the day ❌ Avoid: * Deep fried, junk, bakery foods * Red meat, excess chicken, heavy dairy (cheese, paneer, curd at night) * Cold drinks, packed juices * Excessive rice at night **Exercise:** At least 30–40 min brisk walk daily (weight reduction itself can reverse stage 2 fatty liver). --- ### 4. **How to Combine Safely** Consult me personally for details... 5.Other medicines and panchkarma for fatty liver- Consult me personally for details... ✅ So yes, you **can give Bhumi Amalaki along with Liv.52**, it is safe and beneficial. ⚠️ But avoid too many strong remedies together on empty stomach (garlic+ginger+honey and bhumi amla both) → choose one. --- 👉 Would you like me to make a **day-wise routine chart (morning–evening diet + medicine + exercise)** for your husband so it’s easier to follow without confusion? Advice- self medication is hazardous, always consult ayurvedic doctor before taking ayurvedic medicine. Consult me personally for details.

I understand your concern. In 2nd stage fatty liver, lifestyle correction is most important along with medicines. Your husband is already taking Liv 52, which supports liver health. Garlic, ginger, honey and stopping sugar are good steps, but these alone may not control fatty liver or cholesterol. About Bhumi Amalaki: Yes, Bhumi Amalaki is beneficial for liver health in Ayurveda. However, the dose and brand should be decided after checking his complete health history, liver function tests, digestion, and overall prakriti. Sometimes, along with Bhumi Amalaki, other Ayurvedic formulations are also considered depending on the patient’s condition.
Next Steps
For exact brand, dosage, and combination with his current medicines, I would advise a short consultation, so the treatment can be tailored specifically to him and to avoid unnecessary self-medication.
Health Tips
Follow a light diet: more green vegetables, less oily/fried food. Regular exercise or brisk walk for at least 30 minutes daily.

Fatty liver - Male Step 1 - we need diagnose whether it is alcoholic or non alcoholic Step 2 - we need to know about any other comorbidities present (cholesterol, obesity - as u said) Step 3 - we should consider his agni (metabolism - that means fat metabolism is not happening correctly - that means accumulation of fat is taking place loading the liver mechanism) and that is over toxins covering your liver. Step 4 - Consider Blockage of channels of circulation Step 5 - Many Ayurvedic medications like Trilokyanatha ras, Sanjeevani vati, Panchatiktaka Gritha guggulu, punarnava mandura, obicare, Gomutra arka or fresh gomutra, shilajit, shiva gutika etc., medications to treat the condition Step 6 - Panchakarma therapies like udvartana, sadhyo virechana, lekhana basti, kshara basti, panchtiktaka ksheera basti etc., can help to overcome this condition. *** Note - Ayurveda medicine is not product based medicine. Kindly consult before using any medications on your own.***
