Do not be worried. Grade 3 fatty liver is not normal but it is good that you diagnosed this early. USG is also not specific in detecting fat as compared to other scans. It could have happened because of multiple factors - Obesity, Diabetes mellitus, excessive alcohol intake or certain medications. It might progress to liver fibrosis and cirrhosis in late stage but you can start on some lifestyle changes right now.
Next Steps
Target losing weight if you are over weight, exercise, low carb diet.
Health Tips
You will need evaluation and regular follow up with a gastroenterologist. He/She might prescribe certain medications that might help your condition .
