Famur AP/LAT thigh surgery last july
In nov 2011 my brother had an accident due to which his thigh broke and had a compound facture but this heal but in a curved shape . In 2012 july his thigh again got operated but after that onwards his thigh bone never got healed during this process his thigh operated again in 2015 but no progress. Recently in july 2021 his thigh again operated and this time are some positive results shown but in jan his thight caught injection due to which in feb doctor had to take out the  two peches but still his injection remain the same in march 27th his thigh injection got curved but in april end his knee caught injection due which his thigh and knee got swelled .For seven day he was in under observation and traction process was also done several test had done like blood test ,culture (these test had been done before also) and reports are normal. Recently his swelling in thigh and knee increasing MRI reports l& knee x- ray are are normal ..So can you please tell me what is the root cause of this

This looks like a non union of the osteotomy. With infection there is very less likelihood of this healing. It needs another surgery to fix it. Assuming than infection is not there. If infection is present then it’s 2 or more surgery.

Fracture doesn’t seem to have united. Need to rule out infection . Will need resurgery and fixation with greater stability and bone grafting , after controlling infection.
