False memories
I had anxiety and other mental health issues(doubt on everyone, feeling I would harm anyone etc) .My doctor gave placida one tablet in morning and rivotril 0.5 mg half in afternoon and half at night.Doctor gave me for 3 months but after discontinuing medicines I felt anxious again. So I continued it for 8 months. After again discontinuing it I started feeling anxious. If I visit a place I feel I have visited it before or something has happened before . I have started having many fake memories .i have flashbacks of strange places I have not visited. Also I have delusions that someone has said something which is not always right. Is it the side effect of medicine I took for 8 months. Have I developed schizophrenia?

Greetings ! What you are mentioning sounds like being on anxiety spectrum. Using words like delusions , schizophrenia is not the right approach. It would be better if you provide a better and detailed explanation of your symptoms. It will help in diagnosis.
Next Steps
please consult a psychiatrist online for immediate evaluation and adequate help

what was the reason to discontinue the medicine? You should continue with it as  your treating psychiatrist has advised you.

It seems like you have an anxiety disorder rather than psychosis, as placida controlled your symptoms. Whatever you have experiencing is not a side effect of medicine.
