Facial edema alternating between eyes

Asked for Male, 51 Years

My mother is liver chirotic from past 6 years, she have had episodes of facial edema where one pain starts in side of forehead and eye swells up next morning, earlier she use to have this in one eye at a time and at interval of 3-4 months and condition use to normalize within 5 days. now she is having more such episodes lasting upto 7-8 days and swelling alternates between both eyes at same time. swelling goes in one comes in other over night. attached image
