Does Vitamin D3 deficiency will darken the face skin?? Currently I am working in US. My skin was fair when I was in Hyderabad, after few months later in US my face skin gained little more fair color because the place where I stay in US is very cold. I went to India on vacation on Jan 2019 and stayed their for one month. My face skin was started become dark after 5 days even temperature during Jan 2019 is normal in Hyderabad. Now I returned back to US and it been 2 weeks and my face color came back to fair color now. whenever I went to India on vacation, My face becomes black/dark. Is it due to any vitamin deficiency?? Can you please advise . Thanks !!!

There can be several causes why your skin would turn dark or you may get pigmentation. Sun tan, overweight, pigmentation disorders like acanthosis nigricans or melasma, nutritional deficiency etc are some conditions. Unless someone examines you, we cannot know the cause. Unless we find out the cause it is difficult and pointless to treat. Please send photos with detailed history using online consult option for examination and proper treatment.,
