Eye discharge in new born

Asked for Female, 32 Years

My new born 1 month having eye infection after birth .still not cure 1 eye continue discharge after using eye drop regularly.its normal or any concern please suggest me . thanks in advance

Don't worry . Usually it is because of excessive tears.. not draining . Since tube between the nose and eyes ( nadolacrimal duct ) is not formed fully..

use cotton balls put in hot water . wipe of the discharge if any.. consult a nearby pediatrician once.
