Extreme period pain

Asked for Female, 17 Years

I have been having late periods for a couple of months now and every time they eventually come they pain gets worse and worse and heavy bleeding. I literally can't move and I'm practically crying and screaming in with the amount of pain I am in. I have tried period pain tablets and heat strips and nothing is working anymore. I am getting hot and tired and dizzy and I don't know what to do. Please help?

This condition is called dysmenorrhoea. Some females have such kind of periods naturally and some due to an underlying cause. One of the reasons of painful periods is PCOD. I would advise you to consult a gyenacologist and get an ultrasound abdomen done to rule out PCOD and ovarian cysts. However when ever you are having pain you need to take pain killers only. Only anti spasmodic medicines will help. Hyocine butyl bromide or dicyclomin nitrate medicines.
