Extreme pain in tail bone
My dad has been in pain for about more than a month now. This pain is probably due to trauma. He had fallen twice a couple of years ago and hit his tail bone both times. He has been on medication but that doesnt seem to work. Is surgery the only solution? And is alcohol consumption related to it?

Lumbosacral mobilisation could work in this case with TENS and stretching of piriformis, hip flexors and gluteus. You need to see a physio for the physical assessment.

Hi Your dad might be going through coccydynia. Ask him not to sit on hard surface, need to avoid pressure on tail bone. To relieve pain anti inflammatory drugs will help. I would suggest you to consult physiotherapist for proper treatment
