The gum where the wisdom tooth is erupting is aching severely. The gum line to the side swollen. Unable to close the mouth without pain. There is cheek biting too.

Looks like you are having 'pericoronitis' which is basically inflammation of the gum around an erupting tooth. Because it is swollen you are unable to close your mouth properly wherein the upper tooth is impinging on the lower swollen gums.

Next Steps

Get an x Ray to see if there is space for the wisdom tooth to erupt completely. Get a laser gum removal done which removes the excess gum around the erupting tooth. Laser helps in faster healing and is comparatively painless.
