Extreme dryness on fingers and palm

Hi I have extreme dryness on my hands..palms I tried using Vaseline but gives temporary releif what could be possible reason and is there any home remedy

Apart from the dryness that is present on the fingertip and in the web space do you also have itching over the area. Is similar scaling/itching present anywhere else on the body. Does any other family member had similar complaints. Also for the lesion on the fingertips nail examination would be needed to further assess the cause more accurately. what you have can be eczema, fungal infection or mite infestation. Proper diagnosis would be needed for effective treatment.Please get a consultation from qualified certified dermatologist or you can consult online. Hope this is helpful.
