Exhausted and drowsy
My baby girl one year 5 months old. Today she was watching rhymes. Suddenly she got exhausted and drowsy. She's on valparin syrup. She was irritated and fussy for nearly half an hour. What could this be? She got seizures 6 times so doctor prescribed valparin syrup. Now the intensity has reduced bit at times she gets verh tired. She's conscious. Doctor told if this doesn't work we have to change medicine. We are much co concerned. Pls guide

As the child already had seizure disorder you plz follow up with your treating pediatrician or neurologist. Plz Dont take many opinions that too without seeing the child.

Could be side-effect of the medication. Need some more history. Does she have any fever/cough/cold? As she lost weight ? Is the dose correct? Irritation and fussy can be aura before seizure or simple stomach cramps
