Your ESR is 44 mm/hr (elevated), which indicates ongoing inflammation in the body—not a disease by itself.
Looking at your CBC:
• Hb 14 → normal
• RBC count slightly high with low MCV/MCH → suggests microcytosis (possible iron deficiency or thalassemia trait)
• Eosinophils 9.1% / absolute 639 → elevated
Next Steps
• Check for causes:
– Any allergies (dust, skin rash, sinus issues, asthma)
– Recent infection (fever, throat, cough)
• Recommended tests:
– Serum ferritin / iron studies
– Peripheral smear
– Repeat ESR after 2–3 weeks
• If symptoms present (joint pain, fever, weight loss):
– Further evaluation needed
Health Tips
• Improve diet (iron-rich foods: green veggies, jaggery, dates)
• Stay hydrated
• Manage allergies (avoid triggers like dust/pollution)
• Regular sleep and exercise
⚠️ When to worry:
• ESR persistently >50–60
• Associated symptoms (fever, weight loss, fatigue, joint pain)

ESR when high only tells you there is a health problem. I did notice your eosinophils are a bit high and your mcv is low. This would suggest possible ‘worm infection’.
If your health is otherwise fine (ie no fevers, night sweats, weight loss, joint problems, rashes, breathing issues etc) then do the following
1. Stool test for Ova and parasites
2. Mebendazole 100mg one tablet and take second dose of three weeks (so total is 2 tablets only )
3. Repeat CBP, ESR after two weeks
All the best.
