Esr 68, TLC 11730, Platelet 4.98 lakhs
I had acute tonsillitis for last 2 weeks. I took antibiotics for two weeks. After stopping antibiotics i had leg pain and there is inflammation near leg ankle. I cant even walk because of pain and inflammation. I already had asthma from childhood and skin disease( Subcorneal pustular dermatosis). Most of the time my esr was high. I took blood test for rheumatic arthritis but it is normal. Now again i took blood test . My abnormal values are reported down and test report is attached. ESR 68mm/hr, TLC 11730 cells/ cumm, Platelet count 4.98 lakhs/cumm, Absolute lymphocyte count 3.8 10^3, Hb 12.8gm/dl, PCT 0.4%. Kindly tell me whether my pct and platelet count and all other values mentioned above is much higher or not.Is there anything to worry or should i leave it.

Hello. Your blood values are quite normal expect ESR and there is a mild TC elevation which may be due to  tonsillitis. Check with a doctor if your tonsillar congestion has settled .You may be resistant to this antibiotic and you may require some other antibiotic, if congestion has not settled.Get an ankle xray done if pain and swelling is severe. And also do a RFT. Consult a doctor.
