Hai, Erythema nodosum is a symptom of TB here. Mautox test positive means, infection is active now. As it is highly infectious and spreading, better to take Anti- tubercular medicines till mantaux test become negative. Afterwards we can take Homoeopathy to prevent recurrency.

**Erythema Nodosum (EN)** is an inflammatory condition, often a reaction to an underlying cause rather than a disease itself. A **Mantoux test of 22 mm** is strongly positive and raises suspicion of **Tuberculosis**, especially in countries like India where TB is common. **What this means:** EN can be triggered by infections (like TB), medications, or autoimmune conditions. Your biopsy helps confirm EN, but the **root cause must be treated**. **Suggested approach:** * Consult a physician/chest specialist to evaluate for active or latent TB (Chest X-ray, blood tests, sputum if needed). * If TB is confirmed, **anti-tubercular treatment (ATT)** is essential. * For EN symptoms: rest, leg elevation, and anti-inflammatory medicines may be advised. **Important:** Do not start any treatment on your own. Management depends on whether TB is active or latent. **Homeopathy role:** It can support symptom relief and immunity, but **not replace ATT if TB is diagnosed**. Timely diagnosis and proper treatment lead to complete recovery in most cases.

Homeopathic remedies for erythema nodosum include Rhus toxicodendron (better motion), Bryonia alba (worse motion), Apis mellifica (burning, better cold), Belladonna (acute redness), Arnica montana (soreness), and other more specific medicines. Selection depends on symptoms, modalities, and underlying cause. Constitutional treatment is important for recurrent erythema nodosum cases.

I understand how stressful this situation can feel, especially when you hear terms like erythema nodosum and see a strong Mantoux reaction. Please don’t worry—you’re not alone in this, and this condition is very much manageable with the right approach. Erythema nodosum is often a reaction of the body to an underlying cause, and your reports (including the biopsy and Mantoux) are important clues. Instead of only suppressing the symptoms, it is important to understand your body as a whole—your immunity, triggers, and individual response pattern. In my experience, a well-selected homeopathic treatment can help reduce the inflammation, pain, and recurrence, while also addressing the root cause and improving overall immunity—especially in cases like yours. If you’re comfortable, you can share a few more details about your symptoms (pain, fever, fatigue, any past infections, stress, etc.), and I can guide you better. We can take this step by step and work towards a complete recovery in a gentle and safe way. Erythema nodosum is usually a reaction pattern and not a disease itself, so identifying the underlying cause is very important. A Mantoux of 22 mm strongly suggests possible association with Tuberculosis,.. Well, before suggesting any type of treatment, there's a need to collect the further symptoms like..fever, cough, fatigue, weakness, weight loss or emaciation, lymphadenopathy etc..if you are facing either any type of symptoms then you should let me know....try to connect online and with a proper case taking your issue will be resolved definitely And you will be more satisfied then...Stay healthy and safe 👍😊.
Next Steps
Important: Avoid starting steroids blindly before ruling out TB Regular follow-up is essential..

Homeopathy offers great scope in autoimmune conditions. Modern medicine will only suppress the illness with steroids and no long term benefit. Mantoux is not diagnostic for TB, further evaluation needed.
