Epididymal Cyst 3.1cm : surgery ?
Sir, on ultrasound scan, I am diagnosed with epididymal Cyst of 3.1 * 1.8 * 3.1 cm at upper pole of left testis. Urologist is suggesting surgical removal. Do I have any other medicinal alternatives? Will it have harmful effect on testicles, if I don't remove it. Or is there a chance of this curing on its own? If yes, how long will it take? Kindly suggest if I should take surgery or not.

It’s a big cyst, it can’t be cured with medication. If it’s not causing any pain or discomfort then you can wait and watch. And if it’s causing any pain/discomfort then surgery is only available treatment option. It will be a small surgery.
