Eosinophilia
Hi, I had recently done with blood test. Report says eosinophilia 14% with AEC 1270. WBC's are normal and no parasite impression. What would be the cause?

Eosinophilia is mostly due to either parasitic infection or allergy.
Need to do now:
1) Tab Levocetrizine 10mg at bedtime for 1 week.
2) Tab ALBENDAZOLE 400mg single dose.
Next Steps
Will need thorough history and investigation if above medication does not take care of your condition.
You might need to get Stool examination, blood investigations and Ultrasound whole abdomen.
